Since December 2007, Elephants For Africa has been a registered chairty with the British Charity Commission. Since then I have been hard at work coming up with new fundraising ideas and campaigns.

The marathon is part of our Tri-continent Triathlon, where we hope to raise enough money for a much needed 4x4 vehicle for the research, you can help us on our way by visiting our just giving fundraising page. Wish us luck on the 1st November.... I think we are going to need it.

To really put ELEPHANTS FOR AFRICA on the map, our Founder and Director Dr Kate Evans had decided to take on a physical and mental challenge of MAMMOTH proportions. In just 12 months she will take on the highest mountain in Africa, run a marathon and complete an epic bike ride - to raise funds and bring awareness about elephants in Africa.

Bristol Festival of Nature - 7th & 8th June

Thanks to all those that joined us at the Bristol Festival of Nature, particularly to Yu-Po and Irene who volunteered their time to help on the stall. I could not have done it without them. This is an annual event and so we shall be there next year on the 6th & 7th June.  

The Bristol Festival of Nature is a great day out for all the family, with lots to see and do.
