Released Elephant Locations |
| Mafunyane: was the first elephant to be released on teh 1st February 2002. Thando: was released with Seba on the 10th February 2003. He has been the most exploratory and likes the area north of Camp in the Jao concession. Seba: Was released with Thando on the 10th February 2003. After two years being inseperable from Thando, he has now off exploring by himself. Nandipa: Is the first and only female to be released to date. She was released on the 13th September 2003 and in May 2006 gave birth to a male calf, which we have calle Ntongeni Pula: Is the latest elephant to be released, he is also the youngest at only 7 years old. He was released in May 2008 and has joined up with Nandipa and Ntongeni who are showing him the ways of the wild.
